San Diego Tet Festival 2018, featuring the theme “Spring Blossoms,” begins tonight, February 16, at 5:100 PM at Mira Mesa Community Park. San Diego Tet Festival is presented by VAYA, the Vietnamese-American Youth Alliance, a non-profit promoting youth leadership, cultural awareness, social activism, and community development.
Tet Festival opens tonight with the traditional Lion Dance, music, and singing. Saturday opens at 11 am, featuring the Royal Procession, children’s programs, martial arts, cooking with Executive Chef Ky Phan, and the San Diego Miss Vietnam pageant. Sunday opens at 11 am, featuring a Traditional Wedding Procession and a Puppy Costume Contest. The event schedulel can be found here.
San Diego Tet Festival is also known for its beautiful site decorations, featuring bridges, cherry blossoms, and boats.
