The Second Annual Jerry Niedens Mira Mesa Classic Car Show will be hosted at Mira Mesa High School on September 15, 2018, from 11 am to 3 pm. Vehicles from all over San Diego county will be on hand, and attendees can vote on the “Peoples Choice” award. Admission is free, and food trucks and other vendors will be on hand.

The show is presented by the Mira Mesa Lions Club, and is named for one of the founding club members – Jerry Niedens – a Mira Mesa resident and classic car owner. Jerry organized the first car show in 2017, and was in the planning stages for the 2018 show when he was stricken with brain cancer. The Mira Mesa Lions renamed the show in Jerry’s honor, to recognize his contributions to classic car shows in the area and for founding the Mira Mesa show. Unfortunately, Jerry succumbed to cancer in early August. Several of his cars will be featured at the show.
